Working Principle:
The reader sends out radio frequency signals through the antenna. The built-in antenna of the ear tag receives the signals and converts them into electrical energy to activate the chip. The chip sends the stored information, such as the unique identification code and date of birth, back to the reader through radio frequency signals. The reader decodes the information and transmits it to the computer system for processing.

Structural Composition:
- Chip: Stores individual information of pigs and cattle, such as breed, date of birth, health status, immunization records, etc.
- Antenna: Responsible for receiving and sending radio frequency signals, enabling communication with the reader.
- Housing: Usually made of materials like TPU, it has the characteristics of being waterproof, dustproof, sun-resistant, cold-resistant, and tear-resistant to protect the internal chip and antenna.
Functions:
- Identity Identification: Assigns a unique identity identifier to each pig and cow to avoid confusion, facilitating accurate identification and management by livestock farmers.
- Farm Management: Install readers in feeding passages, water troughs, etc., to automatically read the ear tag information, realizing refined management such as automated feeding and automatic counting when entering and leaving the pen, and improving farming efficiency.
- Traceability Management: Records all the information of pigs and cattle from birth, breeding, slaughter to sales, enabling food safety traceability and protecting the rights and interests of consumers.
- Animal Epidemic Prevention: Monitors the health status in real-time, and obtains vaccination, health data, etc. in a timely manner, facilitating epidemic prevention and control and reducing losses caused by diseases.
Application Advantages:
- Automated Management: Accurately and quickly identifies animals, automatically collects and processes data, reducing the cost and risk of manual operations and improving the accuracy and efficiency of management.
- Real-time Monitoring and Early Warning: Keeps track of the health status and behavior habits of pigs and cattle in real-time, discovers problems in a timely manner and takes measures to avoid the spread of diseases and animal deaths.
- Data Analysis Support: The collected data can be analyzed to help farmers understand the growth status, optimize farming strategies, and improve economic benefits.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Installation: Use a special animal ear tag pliers to install the ear tag on the ears of pigs and cattle, ensuring a firm installation to avoid the ear tag from falling off.
- Maintenance: Regularly check whether the ear tag is in good condition, free from damage or loss. At the same time, clean the surface of the ear tag to ensure that the reader can read the information normally.
