Contact IC card (Integrated Circuit Card) is a card that encapsulates an integrated circuit chip with storage, encryption and data processing capabilities on a plastic card base. Its appearance and size follow international standards (such as ISO/IEC 7816 standard). The reading and writing principle of contact IC card is realized through IC card reader. The CPU in the reader recognizes and activates the inserted IC card through the interface circuit, provides stable power supply and clock signal, and communicates with the IC card through parallel communication, half-duplex serial communication or I2C communication to complete the reading and writing operation.Contact IC cards are widely used in many fields, such as finance, identity recognition, transportation, medical care, etc.
