PETG card is a card made of polyethylene terephthalate-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (PETG) material. PETG is a transparent, non-crystalline copolyester, which is polycondensed by terephthalic acid (PTA), ethylene glycol (EG) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) through the ester exchange method. Compared with traditional PET and PCT, PETG has higher toughness and impact strength, as well as good processability and environmental protection advantages. PETG material decomposes into carbon dioxide and water after burning, without pollution. Widely used in identity cards, social security cards, bank cards, etc.
